At The Well Balanced Being, we believe yoga shouldn’t feel like another "to-do" list item or a high-pressure fitness class. Many of us arrive on the mat feeling tired, stiff, or disconnected. My goal is to help you leave the mat feeling regulated, grounded, and more at home in your own skin.

The TWBB Approach: "You Know You"
In every class, we prioritize your autonomy. You are the expert on your body; I am simply here to guide the way. We focus on:

Nervous System Regulation: Using breath and slow movement to move out of "fight or flight" and into a state of rest and repair.

Accessibility: We use props, chairs, and modifications to ensure every body is supported.

Mind-Body Connection: Learning to listen to the subtle signals your body is sending you.
Our Yoga & Movement Sessions
Ease Into Your Day Yoga
These sessions are the heart of our practice. We blend gentle Hatha yoga with functional movement to improve mobility and reduce tension.

Best for: General wellbeing, stress reduction, and improving flexibility without the "gym" atmosphere.

What to expect: A welcoming environment, focused breathing, and a long, restorative relaxation period to end the session.
"Sit & Stretch" (Chair-Based Yoga)
Yoga is for everyone, regardless of mobility levels. Our chair-based sessions provide all the benefits of traditional yoga—breathwork, stretching, and mindfulness—without the need to get down onto a floor mat.

Best for: Those with limited mobility, desk-based workers, or anyone recovering from injury.

What to expect: A gentle, seated practice focused on joint mobility, breathwork, and guided relaxation—all without ever needing to get down on the floor.​
